Natural Building Set – Log Slice Threading & Construction Kit

This natural building kit contains 12 hand-selected log slices, each with a variety of holes drilled through them, plus a collection of sticks for threading and construction. It's an open-ended resource I make by hand in my Peak District workshop, designed to inspire imaginative building, fine motor development, and sensory exploration.

A note on natural materials

Because these are made from real wood, every set is completely unique — the grain, colour, and shape of each slice will differ. Log slices can occasionally split as they dry, so I recommend checking them regularly. I smooth all edges carefully, but do inspect pieces periodically for any changes. As the wood is relatively freshly cut, store in a cool, well-ventilated spot away from direct sunlight.

Suitable for home learning, forest school, and early years settings. Adult supervision recommended.
