Little Box of Natural Loose Parts

A beautiful open-ended natural resource, perfect for enriching your Tuff Tray, small world setups, or Forest School activities. Each box is filled by hand with a unique mix of natural log pieces — no two boxes are ever the same.

Choose your finish

• Sanded — smooth-finished pieces, ideal for crafting, pyrography, or play with younger children
• Non Sanded — completely natural and rustic, great for outdoor or Forest School use. I still check each piece before packing, and they are generally smooth from the blade cut, but always inspect before use with children

What to expect

• A box filled to the brim with mixed log pieces in a variety of shapes and sizes
• I use a variety of wood types — if you need something specific, just get in touch before ordering
• Each box is totally unique — pieces will differ from the photos
• I can't guarantee an exact piece count, but I fill every box generously
• Have a special request (e.g. a rainbow-shaped piece or a particular size)? Just ask — I'll do my best!
• Please note: the large statement slices in the photos are for display only and won't be included, though I'll try to add some larger pieces where stock allows

Caring for your log pieces

• Being a natural product, log slices may shed bark or develop cracks over time — check regularly before use with children
• Store in a cool, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight
• Freshly cut pieces may contain residual moisture — allow to air if needed
• Linseed oil is a popular, child-safe option for sealing and preserving your pieces

Safety

• Not suitable for children under 3 years or those who still put objects in their mouths
• Contains small parts — choking hazard
• Always supervise children during use and inspect pieces before each play session
