Natural Log Slices – Various Sizes

My natural log slices are hand-sawn fresh from responsibly sourced wood right here in the Peak District. Each one is a unique piece of nature — no two are exactly alike, which is what makes them so special.

They're incredibly versatile and I use them myself for all sorts of projects. Whether you're creating something beautiful or something educational, these slices are a wonderful natural material to work with.

What to Expect

Slices are smoothed as much as possible, though you can sand further for your project. Diameters are approximate — natural wood is rarely perfectly round, and slight imperfections and loose bark are part of their charm.

Care Tips

To help prevent splitting, treat with a few coats of linseed oil or butcher’s oil. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place to avoid mildew. Wood may move slightly as it dries — I think this only adds to its character.
